Water Tower Update

Thank you to all those who took the time to attend the presentation and discussion on the state of the Water Tower and the Town's upcoming infrastructure project. Out of the 26 individuals who attended, 9 were staff and council. One of the engineers on the project was also present and able to answer several questions from the audience. Topics included Gravelbourg’s infrastructure and water storage capacity, the practical and financial implications of preserving the tower as a landmark once decommissioned, preserving a portion of the Water Tower at its current location or at a secondary location, and the value of the Water Tower as a landmark, particularly if it cannot remain part of Gravelbourg’s skyline.
