Residential Waste Services
If you are a new resident homeowner or renter, you will need to visit the Town Office to set up your utility account. The monthly utility bill includes fees for biweekly household garbage and recycling pickup as well as water and sewer services.
Garbage and Recyling Collection Calendar
Household Waste (GREY CART)
The Town contracts Loraas for the curbside collection of household waste. Collection is every second Friday.
Please make sure all of your garbage is bagged and placed in the cart. Whether bagged or loose, Loraas will not collect waste left outside carts or on the curb. Please ensure your cart is on the curb after 7 pm the day prior to collection and by 7 am the day of collection.

The Town contracts Loraas for curbside collection of recyclable materials. Collection is every second Monday starting at 7 am.

Bon Ami collects the follwing items for its large garage sale fundraising events:

Other Waste Services
Transfer Station | 101 7th Avenue West
You may purchase a Punch Pass for the Transfer Station at the Town Office during regular office hours.
Compost Site | Access off Betez St North
Materials Accepted: Leaves, Grass Clippings, vegetation
Materials Not Accepted: Tires, Branches, Trees, Brush, Wood of any type, Garbage, Metals, Plastics, Carboard
If you bring your compostable materials in a plastic or paper bag, carboard box, or other container, dump the materials out on the pile and take the container with you!
Water & Sewer
Saskwater pipes its water from Thomson Lake, located 6 miles south of town along Highway 58.
After filtration and treatment, it is stored in a 300,000 gallon reservoir. Total storage capacity is 390,000 gallons, including a 60,000 gallon water tower. The water pressure averages approximately 60 P.S.I. throughout the distribution system. SaskWater manages the town's water treatment system.

Sewage System
Sewage effluent is pumped from a double pump lift station to a three cell (primary & secondary) lagoon, located ¼ mile east of town.
