The Big Dig is progressing on schedule. A big thanks to all our residents (particularly on 1st Ave E!) for their patience and understanding as we navigate this major infrastructure upgrade.
Safety isn't a matter of convenience! Traffic on 1st Ave E will be reduced to a single lane this week. Here are some tips to keep in mind:
Using the alleys more lately? SLOW DOWN! Speeding cars kick up dust and loose rocks and scare the bejezus out of dog walkers and children.
We know the traffic accommodation lights seem redundant when there is no traffic, but drivers need to obey them. The intervals are set by Government of Saskatchewan protocols, so no, we can't make them shorter. Let's all use the wait to breathe and be grateful we're not stuck on the 401!
