5th Annual Community Expo a Great Success!

On behalf of all of us at Team Town, THANK YOU for making the 5th annual Expo a roaring success!

 

We invited folks to join us for an evening of engagement, information, and celebration, and the COMMUNITY showed up! We hope you had fun and learned more about all the wonderful wellness, service, arts, recreation, education, and health organizations and businesses in and around Gravelbourg. If you're new to town or considering a move to Gravelbourg and you missed the Expo, please don't hesitate to stop by the Town Office to learn more about local amenities and services.

 

Many thanks to the 30+ organizations that hosted tables last night. We hope you made lasting connections with our residents, recruited volunteers, registered students, and shared plenty of information about all the wonderful things you're doing in our community. We are fortunate to have such a wealth of individuals who use their spare time and expertise to improve the lives of others and make Gravelbourg such a great place to live.

 

Thank you to all the organizations that donated items for the STAMPede table, and special thanks to Gavelin Farms for donating the Grand Prize freezer meat pack. Congratulations to Tessa N. for drawing the winning entry!

 

Kudos to Councillors Fehr, Pilgrim, Hawkins, Mayor Forest, Payton, and Leanne for BBQing 200+ hot dogs donated by Southland Co-op Ltd. served on those delicious HB Junction Gas Inc. buns! Our local businesses rock!
